PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Maltitol is a kind of polyol, has good taste, and is 90% of sucrose sweetness, very good to produce sweet food like sugar free confectionerym, gums, chocolate, bakery food and icecreams.Maltitol is polyol from maltose after hydrogenation, has liquid and crystalline products. Liquid products is from high quality maltitol. As the raw material of maltitol, the content of maltose is  better over 60%, otherwise the maltitol will then only take below 50% of total polyols after hydrogenation.  And then cannot be called maltitol.


PRODUCT FEATURES

Maltitol is polyol form maltose after hydrogenation,has liquid and crystalline products. Liquid product is from high quality maltitol. As the raw material of maltitiol, the content of maltose is better over 60%, otherwise the Maltitol will then only take bleow 50% of total polyols after hydrogenation, and then cannot be called Maltitol. The main hydrogenation procedure of maltitol is: raw material preparation-PH value adjust-Reaction-Filter and decolor-Ion change-Evaporation and concentration-Final product.


PRODUCT USAGE

Maltitol is widely used in the food industry as a sweetener
(1) Low-calorie functional sweetener: Maltitol is relatively stable to heat and acid, and its viscosity is 2 times larger than that of xylitol and sorbitol. Therefore, maltitol can be widely used in sugar-free fillings and sugar-free foods instead of sucrose.
(2) Used as a fat substitute Using the emulsification stability of sugar alcohol, maltitol is used as a fat substitute to produce low-calorie food, which can maintain the flavor and organization of the original fat food.
(3) Used as a sweetener for high-fat foods such as ice cream, cream cakes, and toffee, it can inhibit the accumulation of body fat and prevent obesity.
(4) Maltitol has good moisturizing properties and non-fermentative properties. It can be used in bread and cakes to better preserve the taste of bread and cakes.
(5) Application in fruit juice drinks: Maltitol has a certain viscosity and is not easy to ferment. Therefore, when making suspended fruit juice beverages or lactic acid beverages, adding maltitol to replace part of the sugar can make the beverage taste fully lubricated.
