PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Also known as sodium citrate, it is an organic compound with the appearance of white to colorless crystals. Odorless, with a cool salty and spicy taste. Stable at room temperature and air, slightly soluble in moist air, and weathering in hot air. Heated to 150 ℃ to lose crystal water. It is easily soluble in water, soluble in glycerol, insoluble in alcohols and other organic solvents, decomposed by overheating, slightly deliquescence in humid environment, slightly weathered in hot air, its solution pH value is about 8.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Colorless crystal or white crystalline powder. Salty and refreshing.

PRODUCT USAGE

Sodium citrate is used as flavor and stabilizer in food and beverage industry; as anticoagulant, expectorant and diuretic in pharmaceutical industry; in detergent industry, it can replace sodium tripolyphosphate as a non-toxic Auxiliary agent for detergents; it is an excellent chelating agent/complexing agent in chemistry, and this feature is used in industrial applications of sodium citrate. Also used in brewing, injection, photographic drugs and electroplating.

Sodium citrate is an important citrate at present, which is mainly produced by fermenting starch substances to produce citric acid, and then neutralizing it with alkali substances.

PACKAGING & STORAGE
